Yes this was surprising to me. I did not know that baseball, jeans and cricket ball came from Europe.

Besides jeans and baseball I think another thing that originated in Europe and came to American was apple pie. All these things do surprise me because I thought all those things originated ion America. I think that it is very cool to have a sport that started in a continent that is very small and crowded. Another thing that came from Europe is fairy tales. I think these things came to America because they don't want these things to be forgotten.

One thing that I know came from Europe is fairy tales and fables. Two men named the Grimm brothers went around Germany and gathered the stories.

This surprised me because I thought that jeans were made here. I also thought baseball was made in the US.

Other things that I learned about Europe was folktales.

I wasn't surprised that jeans and baseball came to America. Other things like apple pie and folktales came from Europe. Fables and folktales because the Grimm brothers wrote them down.
