They had body language boundaries such as John Smith trying to help her out of the boat. Pocahontas was looking at him giving him eye contact only. They talk about each others village and city and then they get into an argument and Pocahontas thinks her village is fine, but John wants to change their village and John calls her people savages. Pocahontas thinks gold is corn but John shows Pocahontas real gold.

They faced cultural boundaries with language and body language. Also they couldn't understand each others name. He lived in a city and she lived in a village. They body language they had trouble with was a handshake. Pocahontas was an Indian and John Smith was from England. Since Pocahontas was an Indian she thinks gold is corn but John says that "Gold is a coin."

Yes, they faced cultural boundaries with language. When John Smith tried to talk to her she did not understand a word he said. When ever they are around each other they would be themselves and explain where they are from. They tried to oversee themselves and their boundaries by trying not to get into arguments and calling people savages.

The cultural boundaries are language and body langauage because when John was helping her out of the boat Pocahontas thought he was going to hurt her but she finally came out and they introduced themselves. They told each other about their different words. They got into an arugment over words like savages because she thinks John Smith was talking about her people being savages. She lived in a man made house and he lived in a city. She did not know what most of the places he was talking about. He finds out different types of nature that he did not know about. Pocahontas does not know what gold is. So they keep teaching each other what certain things are. They learned to sing together and follow each others path.

They acted differently because they speak differently. They also have problems because Smith were trying to help Pocahontas and she thought that he was going to hurt her. They are from different countries and cities. Smith is from the city and Pocahontas doesn't know about the city. They got into a argument because Smith is from the city and he thinks the city is the best and Pocahontas doesn't. Pocahontas thinks gold is corn but John tells her the truth.

When he tried to help her she thought that he was going to hurt her. They start to argue. When they got to know each other they start to talk about how they work and how to say hello and goodbye. Pocahontas does not know what gold is.

Pocahontas looked nervous and afraid. They show cultural boundaries because there language and how he was trying to help her out of the water. He's from the city and she's from the village and when he talked about buildings she did not have an idea what he was talking about. She doesn't want to change her village. She sings to him about nature and he didn't know a lot about that.

They are actually shy by each other. I can tell because Pocahontas always get scared when she sees him and she freezes up. Now they act like they are the only people on Earth.
ReplyDeleteThe cultural boundaries are languages and body languages. John Smith is from a city but she doesn't know about it. Pocahontas thinks her village is alright and they are not savages. She thinks gold is corn.

She looked curious and afraid because of body language and different cultures. John Smith is from the city London and Pocahontas thinks that London is a village. When he was talking about buildings and the city she had no idea what he was talking about. She thought gold was corn.

They faced body language and language issues because they are curious to meet. John is from a city and Pocahontas thinks the city is a village. They wind up getting into an argument over people and homes. John and his people are trying to tear down Pocahontas's home and tribe. John is realizing he can't tear down the village because Pocahontas shows him nature. Pocahontas thinks gold is corn when John asks her.

They are facing language and body boundaries. He is from a city and she is from a village. She thinks gold is corn and he thinks its money. They have different types of names, for example, Pocahontas has no last name.

They have cultural boundaries. They have body language. They are trying to kill each other. One of the man got caught from trying to kill each other. Pocahontas lives in a big village and John wants to change the village. They got into an argument because he called her a savage. People made houses out of sticks and wood. John's people made their house out of different stuff. He has never seen the wilderness like she does. Pocahontas thought corn was gold. John was protecting Pocahontas because he doesn't want to kill her village and he was protecting her village.

Yes, there were cultural boundaries with language and body language. He puts his hand out to help her out of the boat and she thought he was going to hurt her. Another cultural boundary is she thinks London is a village but it is a country. For example, Pocahontas doesn't know American body language like hand shakes and countries and cities. Pocahontas thinks gold is corn.

When they met they starred at each other for a minute in fright and curious. She ran away and he chased after her. When they get to know each other they start to talk about how things work and how to say hello and goodbye. When they were gathering food her father told her that she should not go far because the visitors might be in hiding. Pocahontas's friend is telling her to not see John again. Then they both are calling each other criminals.

They act nervous but courageous. They have a problem understanding their body language. Pocahontas missed understood what John said when he said her culture was savages but he did not meet them. They come to an agreement about the savage part and falls in love, good vibe.

Their body language (she thinks he is going to hurt her but he is trying to help her out of the boat.) He is from a city and she doesn't know what she is talking about because she is not use to what he's talking about. He wants to change her tribe into what we live in today and Pocahontas doesn't want to. Also, they can't understand each others names and they act curious and strange around each other. John calls her tribe savages and they get into an argument. He realizes that there is beautiful nature out there in the world.

The cultural boundaries she thinks that London is a village. She lives in a village and he is from a city. He wants to change her village. They get into an argument because he called her people savages. He is realizing that there is nature and he has never seen nature before. She thinks gold is corn. AT first she acted shy in front of her but now she doesn't.

They faced cultural boundaries with language and body language. John Smith is from the city but Pocahontas thinks it's a village. John Smith says that Pocahontas's village needs new and better homes and Mr. Smith calls them savages. Pocahontas thinks that gold is corn then John Smith shows her gold.

John lived in the city of London and Pocahontas lived in the New World in a village. They couldn't understand each others names and John Smith called Pocahontas savages and her family. Then Pocahontas's people caught John Smith and they acted like that couldn't talk John's language.
