Welcome to our blog! While studying various countries, students completed projects and writings about their research. Students gained an appreciation for other cultures while looking inside themselves and their culture.
The students had to do a research project on a different culture aside from their own. After researching the differences, the students had to create a project and present it to the class. After all presentations, the students celebrated by bring in a dish that represents their family’s culture. Here are some pictures.
No, I would not live in Africa because I would not understand their main languages and its very hot and it never snows there. I can't take it not snowing there because it will be too hot all year around for me.
ReplyDeleteThe facts I found interesting is that the lake Victoria is 26, 828 square miles and Africans eat almost everything we eat.

I would not want to live in Africa because I'm not that type of person that likes very humid heat. I like to be in 40 or 50 degree weather. The fact that I found very interesting to me was their literacy rate. Literacy is my favorite subject, but in Africa less than half the people know literacy.

If I had a choice to live in Africa I would not go. I would not live in Africa because I learned that Africa is a poor country. They also carry heavy things on their head and they also have to walk several miles for things like food and water. Then I would not want to live in Africa because they use animals poop to make houses. I would not want to live in a place like that. Wouldn't you agree?

No, I would not want to live in Africa because people for shipped off to Egypt and they had to do everything for this one man. He ruled everyone and everyone was scared of him.
ReplyDeleteThe facts that I found interesting is when it states that they beat the Africans and stuffed then into ships. Also, when it says that many slaves escapes from their masters and fled north, but many were tortured, killed, and forced to work to death.

Yes, I would like to live in Africa so I can do different types to help give people a chance. I want to go down there today and see how they are living and help them do better for a chance. Africa today, is disease ridden in many places and there is much suffering. Many people are working very hard to help African children and adults have a better chance at life. Unfortunately, Africa as a whole is a rather poor place. Also, I want to help Africa help Africans become a better place.

No, I will not want to live in Africa. I will not want to live in Africa because back in the day you had to find your own food and coook it yourself. I will also not want to live in there because Africa is a very poor continent and many people need help to get money, clothes, and also food. In the text it states that Africa is a very poor country and people go there just to see the safari.
ReplyDeleteI think many people in Africa needs help to get many things. If I was in Africa I will try my best and get food for my children. That is why I will not want to live in Africa.
