I speak and write English (but this year we have started to learn French in school)
We go to school 5 days a week and learn Reading, Spelling, Writing, Math, Social Studies, Science, Art, Music, French and Gym
I wear jeans, running shoes, hoodies, t-shirts, scarves
We have lots of rainy weather all during the year. We get snow during the winter and we have fabulous skiing up in the mountains around Terrace. In the summer it is sunny and warm.... 25 - 30 degrees Celsius (not Fahrenheit!)
Our town has about 18, 000 people. It's in the Skeena River valley and there are lots of mountains and trees all around Terrace. Because there are forests close by, we often see bears, fox, deer and moose walking down some streets on the outskirts of town.
We have restaurants, stores, malls, etc. downtown. We have McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Boston Pizza, Dairy Queen, A & W.
I get around by walking, riding my bike, my parents drive me and I take the school bus to school.
I eat all kinds of food.... Chinese food, spaghetti, lasagna, salmon, hamburgers, pizza, chicken, ribs. Our school has a salad bar and we have a garden that grows lots of vegetables.
We have a college (Northwest Community College) and we have a satellite campus of UNBC (University of Northern British Columbia)
Some of the kids live in trailers, others live in houses. Our houses have pitched roofs because of the snow that collects on them. They are made out of wood and lots of them have wooden siding on them.

Terrace,I readed what you said your life must be great in columbia.So you must like the snow I wish it can snow all day in the winter.And you eat the sam food we get.You learn the sam to.But I don't walk my parents take me home or the bus.We live in Newark.We don't see bears,fox,deers and moos because we don't realy dive by forest that much.

Dear, Terrence I am really excited to talk to you! You seem like a really interesting boy. The most intersting thing about your letter is how you get to see all the wild life like the Bears, foxes, moos, and deer. I wish I was you. I would like for you to tell me more about yourself. Maybe I can tell you about myself.One thing I love to do is art work. I use to love to play basketball with my brother until I got hurt but now drawing is all it. ReplyDeleteYour letter is really interesting. One thing that was really interesting to me was that where you live you can see all the wild life like the foxes, bears, the moose, and the deer! I wish I was you because I never see anything like that where I live. I live a city and never get to see animals but only dogs and cats.

Terrace we speak enlish to but we learning how to speak spanish and yall are learning how to speak frech. we eat fast food we eat kfc,chines food and more stuff.i go to school five days a week to. in the water it snows and in summer it is very hot like you will be sweating bullits like crazy.it be about 95-100 it be a heat wave sometimes that is how hot it be down here. but in the water time we do not skie we play with snow and we make snow men and we are done we go in the house and drink some coco with marshmallos and suger we have fun in both sessnos but most likely i like the summer because it is more funer and we do not have school.

Hi! Terrace,I've read about and where your from.If it rains so much how could you live there?Since the weahter is 25-30 celcius, then what is the weather like in the Summer,Spring,and Fall over there?I would love to come visit British Columbia, Canada because I want to see how life is in Columbia.When I heard about you I was so so interested in leraning about you.If you came to New Jersey do you think its the same as in Columbia? The only thing that i feel isn't similar to New Jersey and Columbia is the weather and half of the schools.Did you ever come to New Jersey before because I would love for you to so that next time you write back you'll be able to tell me hown you liked it here.

You must like it there you must be freezing down there down here we dont have snow but we have cold air. Mostly Newark is just like your town we got the same stores that you have our place has lots of schools. We have the same acedemics that you have keep up the good work in school.

Wow your town is reall y cool and i think you really have fun. here a my school we dress up for speaical occasion and were uniform for regular school days your school is probaly just like my school but in different countries.
